| Solar - Business Development Sales Manager |

The Business Development Sales Manager will be responsible for developing utility scale project opportunities that deploy Sharp's thin film PV modules and other PV products. This person will new markets, applications and sales for Sharp Solar products and will execute plans to achieve business objectives by collaborating with internal business units to develop and sell comprehensive solutions to meet customer requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Create and execute winning strategies to meet revenue and profit targets. Stay apprised of changing market and competitive conditions.
Collaborate with leading EPC firms to offer turn-key projects as required.
Qualify existing and develop future sales leads, pursue high potential customers and convert prospects into sales.
Negotiate module supply contracts and related transactions.
Work with project managers and engineering to provide specifications, performance, cost analysis data to prospective customers.
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
Bachelor Degree in Business, or related field. MBA preferred.
5 years business development or sales experience, preferably in the solar industry.
Familiarity of solar products, economic measures and modeling approaches.
Excellent oral, written and presentation skills. Must be proficient with MS Office. Knowledge of Salesforce.com and solar performance modeling software is a plus.
In-depth knowledge of target market industries.
Ability to travel.
